Just a quick note to add that my guide to quit randomly mashing buttons and learn to kill things with your Death Knight (or for a less-unwieldy title, the guide to lrn2deathknight) has been updated to incorporate both reader suggestions and comments as well as my own experiences. You may want to take a second look – 2 round rotations have been added, incorporating exactly how the ability of every tree to create Death Runes allows you to switch things up a bit.

@Emiri: Do you mean rune as in the runeforging system? I stuck with Razorice while I was Frost, used Lichbane when I was Blood, and used Fallen Crusader as soon as it was available.
Tanks could swap between Spellshattering and Swordshattering depending entirely on the instance/raid (whether they expected more magical or melee dps, for instance), and they might be interested in the upcoming Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle – currently listed in the PTR notes, it improves armor and adds to Stamina as well.
