After talking to Ratshag, by which I mean mostly talking at Ratshag while he ignored my mathspeaks and did things that were actually interesting, I believe I have a plan now: Operation Grind Pirates ‘til My Eyes Bleed. Currently my reputation with the Steamwheedle Cartel is as follows: Ratchet: 9138/36000 Hated Nothing really extraordinary going on, just progress in fits and spurts. A brief rundown… Have just about completed moving the alts I have any interest in playing over to the Sidhe Devils on Kael’thas. My warrior made the trip today, while my warlock made the trip earlier and is forced to (*shudder*) spend some time as [...] It fixed itself. Brewmaster! Hooray! So I woke up early this morning, thinking before I left for work I could finish off the Brewfest achievements and be Brewmaster Rajaat. A word of warning to anyone who was planning to save 250 tokens by buying the full Brewfest Garb in order to complete Disturbing the Peace, then selling the clothing back [...] Last night: Then, two attempts later (note to self: install a screenshot addon): Got that one in just under the wire, eh? That pretty much sums my weekend. A little backstory: part of the downside of leveling a fresh alt on a brand new realm, new experience or not, is the lack of support. Previously, when I leveled an alt, I could count at least an heirloom or two or three being passed around. When I made Anschlag on Kael’thas, his only real [...] Hello, faithful readers! According to the stats chart for the past week, you people keep coming even if I’m not writing anything, and that’s both inspiring and fascinating. In fact, one of my busiest days on this blog – ever – apparently came in the middle of last week, while I was on the road! [...] I see comments like this every day, whether it be in BA chat or Twitter or what-have-you: Leafy: Anyway, now I am going to drive home and then fail to joust for a while. It pains me to see so many people having such a hard time with jousting. It doesn’t require any twitchier reflexes or [...] Ordinarily, I’d be all about a holiday, but Blizzard’s desire to shove nonsensical PvP requirements into primarily PvE achievements is getting really old. There’s a reason why Zulfon can be “Zulfon the Noble,” and Queklain is always “Queklain the Hallowed,” but you’ll probably never see either be “Merrymaker.” I’m not entirely able to explain why [...] |
