I was chatting with some people on Vent the other night when it came up with one guy was having a problem: both SimulationCraft and Rawr (fine tools in their own right, don’t get me wrong!) seemed to be low-balling his death knight’s DPS – by at least 1000 dps in some cases! So when [...] I’ve seen this come up a lot lately, usually in response to trying to figure out what to do with death knights during the Lady Deathwhisper fight, and so I thought maybe it’d be helpful (following up on my resolution to be more useful) to provide a guide to which of our powers do [...] Unrelated note: how many times did I type "reoslutions" instead of resolutions? If you guessed 3, you’re a winner. So the holiday lull is over and the new year begins. My real life resolutions for 2010 aren’t anything impressive, and I’ve been cheating on WoW with consoles so I could really use some goal setting… so [...] At least, that’s what I keep telling myself. Hinenuitepo at Death Goddess has a DPS version of that healer and tank set of surveys that’s been going around, and I’m a sheep who needs blog fodder. For those of you who haven’t seen it, quizzed your friendly local death knight about it, or read the link, here’s the lowdown on it: 6-second channel, totally unlike any other DK spell. Each second summons an Army of the [...] Well, I didn’t raid last night. It was an oversight, but one hopefully avoided soon. (Yes, I reserve the right to be cryptic.) However, in my don’t-feel-like-doing-anything funk resulting from aforementioned oversight, I started leveling… another Death Knight.
