There are, in fact, boots in ICC5. I've had absolutely no luck getting them. The ones you're looking for are the Black Spire Sabatons, which drop from the Devourer of Souls in Heroic Forge of Souls. There's also some decent tanking gear in other parts of ICC5 - such as the Eerie Runeblade Polisher from the first boss in normal Halls of Reflection. Dual wield Frost is a pretty good spec. I've never had the weapons to support it, but it can definitely work, especially if you get two nice slow weapons (like, say, Black Icicle, Nighttime, or Hate-Forged Cleaver) with Nerubian Carapace, or a slow DPS weapon and a fast tanking weapon (like Rimefang's Claw). Just don't go fast/fast wielding tanking weapons and you should be golden.

I’m also having bad luck vs the Boot boss. I figure my best bet is farming regular ToC(5) for the boots Eadric Drops. But I only have so much time to run that during any given day. Maybe by the time I finish getting T9 pants and gloves I can get through some of the ICC(5) content and get boots from there. (Boots do drop there, right?)

I’ll have to check out your talents later on, but I am using a modified DW Frost spec at the moment in 5 mans. Not quite geared enough for raids, unless anyone actually runs Naxx!
