Titles Obtainable After Echoes of Doom, but Before Wrath
- “________ of the Shattered Sun.” Yep, the 1000g gold sink title will remain in the game, from all reports, and while right now it might be a waste, reportedly questing from 70 to 80 will earn you nearly 10,000 gold. At that point, shelling out a grand for a title might not seem like the huge waste of cash that it is now.
- “Justicar ________” (Alliance) / “Conqueror ________” (Horde). Got a lot of time and patience on your hands? Willing to listen to noobs QQ’ing about how you lost Arathi Basin because no one made mage tables? Then sir or madam, Justicar or Conqueror might be for you.
- How to get it: Reach exalted with your side’s three battleground factions. For you allies, that’s Silverwing Sentinels, Stormpike Guard, and The League of Arathor. For us hordelings, we have to hit exalted with Warsong Outriders, The Defilers, and the Frostwolf Clan. Yes, this is a huge pain in the ass for every faction except the ones in AV. But hey, you’ll get a lot of honor, a lot of marks, and a new tabard – Battle Tabard of the Defilers or Arathor Battle Tabard – as well as upgrading your Frostwolf Insignia or Stormpike Insignia.
- “Ambassador ________.” Beloved of the cities, welcome in every nation in Azeroth (at least those friendly to your faction), the Ambassador is not an easy title to obtain – or rather, it’s easy, it’s just very time-consuming. This title also has the cool background of being one that was added specifically because of player requests! (Shameless plug: this is the one I’m most busily working towards.)
- How to get it: Complete Ambassador of the Horde or Ambassador of the Alliance. The former requires exalted reputation with Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, Undercity, Darkspear Trolls, and Silvermoon City. For the Alliance, you’ll be turning in a lot of runecloth to Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus, Gnomeregan Exiles, and The Exodar. You’ll likely end up doing lots of the repeatable Runecloth turn-in, but you can also obtain valuable reputation by doing quests in the starting area for each race, as well as by doing the repeatable turn-ins in Alterac Valley. So if you’re working on Justicar or Conqueror… heck, you may as well work on Ambassador too! This will also open up every city’s mounts for you – a huge help towards Leading the Cavalry – as well as completing Exalted rep achievements at least up to 5 Exalted Reputations.
- “Bloodsail Admiral _______.” Yarrrrr!
- How to get it: Complete Avast Ye, Admiral!, the capstone of the Bloodsail Buccaneers questline. I’m also pretty sure that if you got the hat, you will be retroactively awarded this achievement and the title to go with it. Now start making nice with the goblins again, Admiral!
- “_______, Guardian of Cenarius.” Are you a treehugging hippie? Have I got the title for you!
- “_______ of the Horde” or “_______ of the Alliance.” Hey, do you like killing people? I mean really, really, really like killing people? Specifically people from the opposing faction? Honorably? Not ganking? Here’s your title… eventually.
- “_______ the Diplomat.” Grinding exalted with five factions that you’re probably already at honored or revered with not enough of a challenge for you? How about grinding exalted with three factions that initially hate you?
- How to get it: Complete The Diplomat (Horde) or The Diplomat (Alliance), requiring you to get exalted reputation with Timbermaw Hold, Sporeggar, and either the Mag’har or Kurenai. Hey, if nothing else, this is another step towards finishing Leading the Cavalry.
- “_______ the Hallowed.” Hallowed be thy name! It’s another world event achievement and title.
- How to get it: Complete Hallowed By Thy Name, which is a meta-achievement; like usual, some of it you can already have completed, and the rest you can complete in a couple weeks when Hallow’s End rolls around! UPDATE: Word has it that in 3.0.3, the ridiculously difficult A Mask for All Occasions is being removed from this title’s requirements. Now you only have to worry about getting your Sinister Squashling and Hallowed Helm from the Horseman.
- “_______ Jenkins.” That’s right – another Leeroy Jenkins tribute. You, however, will have to be slightly successful than the eponymous Mr. Jenkins… or at least a bit deadlier.
- How to get it: Complete Leeeeeeeeeeeeeroy!, which requires you to kill 50 Rookery Whelps in 15 seconds. Reward? The surname Jenkins!

About the Author

Stop used to be a warlock, then he was a death knight; first he was Horde, then he was Alliance again, and now he's Horde again. For good this time. Lok'tar ogar!
Thank you for the list! This is very helpful in planning.
PS – I really worry that the “Salty” title will be abused, too.
